VOICE
My artistic practice is one that combines abstract geometry with symbolic natural forms using Gestalt organization to create compositions that reward prolonged viewing. My paintings emphasize movement, harmony, and visual relationships rather than literal representations.
PHILOSOPHY
I agree with the transcendental philosophy that aims to view all things as manifestations of God. I feel this notion through the processing of the materials I use as well as the subject matter.
When reducing the elements of the materials to their basic forms their construction can be viewed as equal to the organic figures. Therefore the background design (and all of the intricacies therein), materials used and imagery are all equally important in each piece.
